Details
HEC
has announced undergruadate scholarships to students from Balochistan and
Erastwhile FATA. Indigenous Scholarships Batch-II of the "Provision of
Higher Education Opportunities for the Students of Balochistan & FATA
“(Phase-III) (Batch-II) for Undergraduate Studies in All Disciplines" have
been announced by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Applications
for scholarships for undergraduate study at HEC-recognized public and private
sector universities and degree awarding institutions in Pakistan are invited
from exceptional students holding a Domicile/Local certificate from Balochistan
and a former FATA.

BALOCHISTAN AND FATA UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
To be eligible for the HEC
Balochistan & FATA Undergraduate Scholarship 2023, applicants must meet the
following criteria:
Applicants Must Possess local Certificate/Domicile of
Balochistan/FATA.
Candidates must have completed a 12-year education with 60% marks
in FA/FSc/ICom/ICS/DAE or equivalent.
The maximum age limit is 22 years as of the Closing date.
Candidates must acquire the requisite academic qualifications on
or before the closing date.
Students with A-levels & O-levels must have an equivalence certificate
to apply.
Students enrolled in medical colleges and engineering programs are
not eligible for the reserved seats but may still be considered for the
scholarship based on merit.
Students already enrolled in any bachelor program are encouraged
to apply.
NOTE: Candidates
who are already availing of any other HEC/Government Scholarship are NOT
eligible to apply
HEC
UNDERGRAUDATE SCHOLARSHIP COVERS:
The
Tuition and other fees, including hostel fee, up to Rs. 60,000 per
semester/year.
Living
allowance of Rs. 6,000 per month with annual increments of Rs. 500.
Book
allowance of Rs. 5,000 per year.
Travel
allowance of Rs. 5,000 per year.
Initial
settlement allowance of Rs. 10,000 during the entire study period.
HOW
TO APPLY FOR HEC SCHOLARSHIP?
It
is necessary for candidates to apply online at
https://scholarships.hec.gov.pk/, the HEC website.
Applications
and other documentation are not needed at this time in hard copy form.
The
applicant has to deposite TEST FEE by participating banks, ATMs, internet
banking, mobile banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash, and Upaisa using a 1Link 1Bill
invoice.
After
choosing the 1Link 1bill Invoice payment option. Click on Bill payment or
payment services (as your mobile banking app options) after opening or logging
into your mobile app.
After
selecting the 1Bill Invoice payment service, enter the customer number
generated by the application portal. Pay the payment after you've seen the
details.
On
the application form, click "Verify Online Payment" after making the
payment via 1Link 1Bill Invoice. The TEST FEE cannot be transferred or
refunded.
After
filling out the application, the candidate needs to submit it online.
Applications that are saved but incomplete in any way won't be taken into
consideration.
HEC
reserves the right to postpone or cancel the scholarship process at any stage
without assigning any reason.
